Fifteen minutes from Brașov
Râșnov sits on the DN73 between Brașov and Bran — close enough for a morning ride, far enough to feel like the mountains.

Follow the DN73 south-west out of Brașov. There's free parking near the citadel base and at Dino Parc.
From Brașov–Ghimbav Airport (GHV)
Bolt and Uber both serve the airport. A ride straight to Râșnov runs roughly 70–90 lei depending on the time of day and demand — the in-app estimate is always the source of truth.
Ride-hailing & taxi apps
The two big apps cover Brașov and Râșnov well. Install one before you land and you'll never need to negotiate a fare.
Note: Uber in Brașov currently only offers UberX — there's no separate taxi option, so don't look for one in the app.
Local Romanian taxi apps
Clever Taxi and Star Taxi also work in the area as a fallback — search for the app name in your phone's app store.
A word of local advice: avoid hailing an unmarked street taxi in Romania's bigger towns. Ride-hailing apps show the fare upfront and are the safer, cheaper default.
